Fueltec has been actively involved in the designing, tendering, construction, erection, installation, testing and commissioning of various gas installations throughout Southern Africa and neighbouring African countries for the past 25 years.

This work has covered all aspects of gas installations, including but not limited to: bulk and mini storage vessel supply and refurbishment, Site layout, design and plan submission, civil-work piping, manifold design and manufacture, fire protection, gas detection, pumps and general equipment, electric’s, N.D.T., etc.

Our first major field of expertise is L.P. Gas, which has included installations for small consumers to bulk installations with large L.P.G spheres and storage tanks for bulk distribution and mass bottle filling. Certified industrial and commercial fitters form part of our team, providing us with expertise and knowledge to handle any size contract.

Our second field of expertise is the revalidation and maintenance of LPG Road tankers. We have conducted general maintenance on a handful of Afrox tankers since 1990, but due to current demand, we are now servicing fleets of the major LPG Fuel suppliers and transporters in South Africa. We conduct scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on various Road Tankers of various sizes from the small rigid 9m3 tankers to the Supertankers. This includes meter calibrations and OHS act defined inspections at 6 monthly intervals.
